Kato Vervena (Κάτω Βέρβενα) Arkadia
Kato Vervena is a small settlement at the foot of Mount Zavitsa, 5 km from Astros Kynourias. It is the first settlement in the plain of Astros that we meet coming from Athens. It is the winter residence for most of the inhabitants of the mountainous Vervenans.
Until 1927 it was called Cherenny. Then, on August 20, 1927, it was renamed Temenion [2], a name that lasted until November 13, 1984, when it took its current name. [3]
