Kandalos (Κάνδαλος) Achaia
Kandalos is a mountainous village in the former province of Kalavryta, Achaia Prefecture, which is currently a Local Community of the Municipal Unit of Kalavryta, "Kallikratis" Municipality of Kalavryta. Before the implementation of the "Kapodistrian" administrative reform, it was part of the Community of Kandalos, while it subsequently became a Municipal District of the "Kapodistrian" Municipality of Kalavryta. It is built at an altitude of 831 meters southwest of Kalavryta and 15 kilometers from them. Its population according to the 2011 census is 27 inhabitants[1].
Note
Not to be confused with the homonymous settlement of the community of Michioi, former Municipality of Larissa, and with the homonymous abandoned settlement near Chalandritsa, former Municipality of Farres.
