Kamares (Καμάρες) Paros
Kamares is a settlement in Paros and the South Aegean.[2][3]
General information
Kamares is located in the northern part of the island and its coast, at an altitude of 30 meters.[4] It is approximately 6 kilometers northeast of the center of Paroikia (or Chora - the island's seat and port) while to the northeast is Livadia. It was officially registered for the first time as a separate settlement in 1961 in the community of Paros.[5] According to the Kallikratis plan and its amendment by Kleisthenis I, it belongs to the community of Paros[6] which falls under the Municipality of Paros while according to the 2021 census it has 235 residents[7].
