Kalyvia (Καλύβια) Aitoloakarnania
Kalyvia is a semi-mountainous settlement of the village of Sardinia in Aitoloakarnania at an altitude of 150 meters [1]. It is located southeast of the Amvrakikos gulf, at a distance of 7.5 km NE. from Amfilochia and is the eastern continuation of the settlement of Sardinia. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Sardinia, they constitute the Local Community of Sardinia, which belongs to the Municipal Unit of Menidi of the Municipality of Amfilochia and according to the 2011 census has a population of 27 inhabitants [2].
Note
In Aitoloakarnania there is also the settlement of Kalyvia Agriniou. In the same municipal unit there was also the settlement of Kalyvia Loutrou which was abolished in NE. by Krikellos,
