Kaipanaki (Καϊπανάκι) Evrytania

Kaipanaki is a mountainous settlement of Central Greece in the Regional Unit of Evrytania at an altitude of 580 meters[2], which is located on the western border with the Regional Unit of Aitoloakarnania and the northern shores of the artificial lake of Kremasto. It is 22 km. SW. from Kerasochori (seat of the municipality), 61 km. W.-NW. from Karpenisi and approximately 2.5 km. from Tripotamos of which it was formerly a settlement. It was officially mentioned as a separate settlement for the first time in 1981, being registered in the then community of Tripotamos.[3] According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Tripotamos, Vrekaika, Kopseika and the Monastery of Tatarnis form the local community of Tripotamos, which belongs to the municipal unit of Fragistas of the Municipality of Agrafa and according to the 2011 census has a population of 27 inhabitants.[4]
