Isiomata (Ισιώματα) Trikala
Isiomata is a settlement in the Municipality of Pyli in Thessaly and the Regional Unit of Trikala.[1]
General information
Isiomata is located towards the Regional Unit of Karditsa, on the southeastern slopes of Mount Loupata at an altitude of 947 meters.[2] It is approximately 43 kilometers W.-SW. from Trikala, 23 kilometers W. from Pyli (the seat of the municipality) and 6 kilometers (by road) S.W. from Stournaraiika, while the Arta-Trikala National Road passes to the north and west of the village.
It is officially listed as a separate settlement for the first time in 2001, being registered in the then Local Department of Stournareika of the municipality of Pindaia.[1] According to the Kallikratis program and its amendment by Kleisthenes I, together with Stournaraiika, Agios Konstantinos, Kallithea, Karyes, Kastania, Palaiochori and Psarro, they constitute the community of Stournaraiika[3] which falls under the Municipal Unit of Pindea of the Municipality of Pyli and according to the 2011 census, 48 residents were registered[4] while in the 2001 census, there were 59[5].
