Golfari (Γκολφάρι) Trikala
Golfari or Gkolfari is a settlement in the municipality of Pyli, in the prefecture of Trikala in the region of Thessaly in Greece, which is located at an altitude of 770 meters.[2][3] The village belonged to the former municipality of Myrofillou (before 2011).[4]
In 2011 it had a population of 69 inhabitants.[5] It is rumored that they are descendants of Souli and lived there after the Turkish invasion of Souli. Some of the names that are in the village are Bougas, Gatas, Efthimiou, Botsaris, Tsoupras, Alekos
It is located above the Acheloos River and borders the prefecture of Arta. The village is 97 kilometers southwest of Trikala, the center of the prefecture.
