Glyfades (Γλυφάδες) Paros
Glyfades is a seaside settlement and beach of the Municipality of Paros in the South Aegean.[2][3]
General information
Glyfades is located on the eastern coast and towards the northern part of the island[4] while it is approximately 13 kilometers east of Parikia (or Chora - the island's seat and port) and 7 kilometers south of Naoussa. North of it is Isterni and southeast is Tsoukalia. Their beach is sandy and a favorite destination for wind surfing.[5]
It is officially mentioned for the first time as a separate settlement in 1991 to be registered in the community of Archilochos.[2] According to the Kallikrates plan and its amendment by Kleisthenes I, it belongs to the community of Archilochos[6] which falls under the Municipality of Paros while according to the 2021 census it has 57 residents[7].
