Fterolakka (Φτερόλακκα ) Fthiotida
Fterolakka is a settlement in Central Greece in the Regional Unit of Fthiotida.[1]
General information
Fterolakka is located on the northern slopes of Mount Parnassos at 900 meters[1] and is part of the Municipality of Amfikleia - Elateia[2]. Together with the settlements of Ano Kalyvia, Moni Dadiou, Perdikovrisi, Pefkovrisi, Amfikleia Station belongs to the municipal unit of Amfiklia. It is located between Perdikovrisi (North) and the Parnassos ski resort (South), where the Christian Student Group Camps "Parnassos" of the Holy Metropolis of Thebes & Levadia (founded in the summer of 1970) are located (3) and has no permanent residents[4]. Fterolakka is the most mountainous area of the Municipality of Amfikleia - Elateia. It was officially mentioned as a separate settlement for the first time in 1961, when it was registered in the then municipality of Amfikleia.[2] The population censuses are:
