Exokklisi (Εξωκκλήσι) Imathia
Exokklisi has been listed as a separate settlement of the Municipality of Alexandreia in the Regional Unit of Imathia since 1961.[1][2] It is the Holy Monastery of Agia Kyriaki, which is approximately 3 km south of Loutro and is built on the plain of Aliakmonas in a cluster of trees, between the river and the Egnatia Highway.[3]
According to the "Kallikratis" Program and its amendment by Cleisthenes I, together with Loutro, they constitute the community of Loutro[2][4] which falls under the Municipal Unit of Alexandreia of the Municipality of Alexandreia, while according to the 2011 census, 2 nuns were listed.[5] The population censuses after World War II are:
