Elafopidima (Ελαφοπήδημα ) Arta
Elafopídima is a settlement in Epirus, in the Regional Unit of Arta.[1][2][3]
General information
Elafopídima is located towards the border with the Regional Unit of Ioannina and is built at an altitude of 520 meters.[1] It is approximately 23 km. W.-NW. from Voulgareli (seat of the municipality), 40 km. N.-NE. from Arta and 67 km. S.-SE. from Ioannina. Northeast of the village is Ramia, of which it is considered a settlement, and south of Livadi.
It was first officially mentioned in 1940 as being registered in the community of Ramia.[4] According to the "Kallikratis" program and its amendment by Cleisthenes I, together with Gerovrysi, Livadi, Dara and Ramia form the Community of Ramia,[5] which belongs to the Municipal Unit of Agnanta of the Municipality of Central Tzoumerka and according to the 2011 census has a population of 29 inhabitants.[6]
