Diaselo (Διάσελο ) Evrytania
Diaselo is a mountainous settlement of Central Greece in the Regional Unit of Evrytania[2], which is located on the northern border with the Regional Unit of Karditsa. It is built at the southern foothills of the Western Agrafa at an altitude of 912 meters[3] while the Platanias stream passes to the north and west of the village. It is 60 km. NW. from Kerasochori (seat of the municipality), 99 km. NW. from Karpenisi and just 1 km. NW. from Kedra, of which it is considered a settlement. A sight of the area is the "Parga" gorge formed by Platanias between the vertical granite rocks of Ai Liades and its suspension bridge. As a separate settlement, it was officially mentioned for the first time in 2001, being registered in the then Local Department of Kedron of the municipality of Aspropotamos.[4] According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Kedra and Palaio Chorio, it forms the local community of Kedron, which belongs to the municipal unit of Aspropotamos of the Municipality of Agrafa and according to the 2011 census, has a population of 48 residents.[5]
