Diasello (Διάσελλον) Aitoloakarnania
Diasello is a mountainous settlement of Nafpaktia in the Prefecture of Aitoloakarnania.[2]
Geography - History
Diasello is built on the northwestern slope of Mount Rigani and northeast of the peak of Tsouka at an altitude of 600 meters.[3] The village is located on the provincial road Pitsinaiko - Familas, N.-N.W. of Nafpaktos at a distance of 23.5 km. from it. It was first recognized as a settlement in 1961 and was annexed to the then community of Rigani. In 1997, according to the Kapodistrias plan, together with Riganio and Poros, they were annexed to the then municipality of Nafpaktos.[4] According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Poros and Riganio, they constitute the Local Community of Rigani, which belongs to the Municipal Unit of Nafpaktos of the Municipality of Nafpaktia, while according to the 2011 census it has a population of 2 inhabitants.[5]
