Chatzirados (Χατζιράδος) Tinos
Chatzirados[2] or Hatzirados[3] is a very small settlement on Tinos in the Cyclades and the South Aegean.
General information
Chatzirados is located towards the southern and central part of the island at an altitude of 285 meters.[4] The village is approximately 7 kilometers north of Tinos town and 1 kilometer northwest of Ktikados. It has been classified as a traditional settlement since 1978.[5] The church of Agia Triada, with a beautiful pebbled courtyard (dating from 1889) and the old church of Panagia ton Chionon.[3]
It is officially mentioned, after the Turkish occupation, in 1835 to be annexed to the then municipality of Tripotamos.[6] According to the plan, Kallikrates belongs to the Community of Ktikados, which falls under the Municipal Unit of Exombourgo of the Municipality of Tinos, and according to the 2021 census, 17 residents were registered.[7]
