Chantakia is a settlement in Argolida in the Peloponnese[3] and has an altitude of 160 meters. It is located approximately 9 km. W.-NW. from Argos and 7 km. SW. from Koutsopodi. It was first registered as a separate settlement in 1951 in the community of Schinochori, which falls under the Municipal Unit of Koutsopodi of the Municipality of Argos - Mycenae.[4] In the 2021 census it had 26 residents[5] while in the 2011 census it was 33[6].
