Agios Vissarion (Άγιος Βησσαρίων) Trikala
Agios Vissarionas or Agios Vissarion is a settlement in the Trikala Regional Unit, in the Thessaly Region. Administratively, it belongs to the Community of Agios Vissarion, of the Municipal Unit of Pyli and is subordinate to the Municipality of Pyli.[1]
The local community of Agios Vissarionas is characterized as a rural lowland settlement, with an area of 12.837 km² (2011).[2]
Geographic information
Agios Vissarionas, Trikala is built at an altitude of 230 meters[3] and has 626 residents (de facto), according to the 2011 Census.[4] Until 1955, it was called Dousiko.[5]
