Agios Minas (Άγιος Μηνάς) Ioannina
Agios Minas is a small mountainous village of Epirus in the Regional Unit of Ioannina[1], which is located on the western slopes of Mount Lakmos or Peristeri (part of the Pindos mountain range) east of the Metsovitikos River at an altitude of 602 meters[2]. It is 54 km. E.-NE. (by road) from the city of Ioannina (via Amfithea - Spothi), 27 km. SW. from Metsovo (seat of the municipality) and about 1 km. from MikraGotista. It is officially mentioned as a separate settlement for the first time in 1961 to be registered in the community of Mikra Gotista.[3] According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Mikri Gotista, Batza, Riza and Sioutso, they form the local community of Mikra Gotista in the municipal unit of Egnatia, which falls under the municipality of Metsovo and according to the 2011 census, there are 28 residents.[4]
