Agios Georgios (Άγιος Γεώργιος) Trikala
Agios Georgios is a settlement in the local community of Elati, in the municipal unit (former municipality) of Aithika, in the municipality of Pyli, in the regional unit (former prefecture) of Trikala, in the region of Thessaly, according to the Kallikratis program. [1][2] Before the Kapodistrias plan and the Kallikratis program, it belonged to the Trikala province of the Trikala prefecture, in the geographical department of Thessaly.[3][4]
Geography
Agios Georgios is a mountainous settlement in the southwestern part of the prefecture of Trikala, on the southern slopes of Koziakas, next to and south of Elati, at an average elevation of 840. It is approximately 33 km W.S.W. of Trikala. [5][6][4]

Administrative changes until "Kallikratis"
The settlement was recognized in 1981 and was annexed to the community of Elati. With the Government Gazette 244A - 04/12/1997 the settlement was detached from the community of Elati and annexed to the municipality of Aithek. With the Government Gazette 87A - 07/06/2010 it was detached from the municipality of Aithek and annexed to the municipality of Pyli. [2]
