Domenico Bettini (1644 - 1705) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period, mainly depicting still-life subjects.

Biography

He was born in Florence, and died in Bologna. He was first a pupil of Jacopo Vignali, but afterwards went to Rome, and became a pupil of Mario Nuzzi. He painted still lifes with fruit, flowers, birds, and fish. He worked for many years at the court of the Duke of Modena from 1670-1688. One of his pupils was Felice Rubbiani of Modena.[1]
