Charles Édouard Armand-Dumaresq (born in Paris in 1826, died in Paris in 1895) was a French painter, primarily of religious and military subjects.

In 1870, he came to the United States, sent by the French government for a study mission about "the different learning methodologies of design and how they are applied in arts and industry". He met the artists of the East coast and also the military academies of West Point and Annapolis. He did not paint much in US but back in France, some of his artworks are inspired by the American Revolutionary War.

One of his paintings, The Signing of the Declaration of Independence is in the Cabinet Room of the White House.
