Nansy Stergiopoulou (Νάνσυ Στεργιοπούλου in Greek) born on (July 14, 1984 in Athens, Greece) is a Greek singer and former member of girl band Hi-5. Her family originally comes from the Serres region of northern Greece

Career

At age 18, Nansy started took up studying classical guitar. She dreamt of either teaching classical dance or English literature, which she studied at the University of New York. In 2003 she took part in the Greek version of the popular idol show Popstars and the astonishment of the teenager won a spot on the all girl band Hi-5, making her the youngest in the group. Nansy along with the four other girls, Marlen Angelidou, Irini Psyhrami, Froso Papaharalampous, and Shaya had two very successful years and numerous no.1 hits with the group. In 2005 the group decided to amicably split up so its members could pursue their own solo music careers.
