Acacallis, was with Hermes (or Apollo) the mother of Cydon. According to Tegean mythology Cydon was a son of Tegeates who immigrated from Crete to Tegea according to Pausanias.

Cydon is considered to be the founder of Cydonia the city today known as Chania in Crete.

Apollo was the father of her son Miletus, who was exposed in a forest by Acacallis. The child was found by shepherds. (Antonin. Lib. 30) . Miletus is the mythical founder of the Greek city Miletus in Minor Asia.

Geramas was also a child of Apollo and Amphitemis.

Apollodorus calls the daughter of Minos Acalle but does not mention Miletus as her son.
