2894 : Dexiosis. Grave stele. Pentelic marble

Found in Athens. It represents a dexiosis (handshake) between a youth
followed by his dog and a bearded man who holds an aryballos in his
left hand. The free space above the figures bore painted decoration.
The monument was originally crowned by a separately carved ornament that
has not been preserved.
