Found at Nikaia in Bithynia, Asia Minor. The relief depicts Apollon holding
a sceptre and bowl at the right, next to an altar which is approached
by a young slave leading a sacrificial sheep. At the left a young girl
carries a large box on her head and holds an oinochoe. Next to her
is depicted a mature man making a gesture of veneration. The inscription
states that the members of a religious association honoured the priest
Asklepiades son of Melidoros, by awarding him a wreath and dedicating the stele.
Late Hellenistic period.
