Kefalovryso (Κεφαλόβρυσο) Aitoloakarnania

Kefalovryso, officially Kefalovryson, is a village in the prefecture of Aitoloakarnania at an altitude of 15 meters [1], which is located west of the lagoon of Aetoliko. The village is built next to the Ionian Road and through it passes the national road Antirriou - Agrinio. It is only 3 km NW. of Aetoliko and 13.5 km NW. of Messolonghi. As a settlement, it has been included in the Greek censuses since 1928 as part of the then community of Aetoliko. [2] According to the Kallikratis program, it belongs to the municipal community of Aetoliko, which belongs to the municipal unit of Aetoliko of the Holy City of Messolonghi and according to the 2011 census has a population of 405 inhabitants. [3] the Kryoneri-Agrinio railway line. The homonymous station was located in front of the Kefalovrysso stadium.
