Granas (Γρανάς) Evrytania

Granas is a mountain village in the prefecture of Evrytania in Central Greece. According to the 2011 census, the population of the village is 24 inhabitants.

General elements

Granas is built at an altitude of 1,040 meters [1], on the slopes of Mount Panaitolikos [2]. Until 1997, it belonged to the province of Evritania, and then to the Kapodistrian municipality of Proussos. Since 2011 it has been administratively part of the Kallikratissi municipality of Karpenisi and the population is, together with the village of Prodromos, the Local Community of Prodromos.
