Grammatsouli (Γραμματσούλι) Aitoloakarnania

Grammatsouli is a semi-mountainous village in the Regional Unit of Aitoloakarnania [1] at an altitude of 330 meters [2], which is located to the northern borders with the Regional Unit of Evrytania and the Regional Unit of Arta. It is built next to and east of the Inachos river at a distance of 42.5 km NE. of Amfilochia and 3.5 km NW. from Empesos. It is officially mentioned in 1981 that it belongs to the then community of Empesos [3]. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Empesos, Sykea, Skatzokampos and Ftelia, they constitute the Local Community of Empesou, which belongs to the Municipal Unit of Inachos of the Municipality of Amfilochia and according to the 2011 census has a population of 56 inhabitants.
