Elaia (Ελαία) Arkadia
Elaia is a settlement of the community of Chora, of the municipal unit of Tropaia of the municipality of Gortynia. It has an altitude of 200 m. It is 110 km away from Tripoli. It is located between the rivers Erymanthos and Ladonas and the villages of Neochori and Chora near the border with the prefecture of Ilia. The permanent residents in the 2011 census are 38.
Overview
The inhabitants of the village are mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. The village is located in a beautiful location tributaries of the river Erymanthos. The name of the settlement was first Saidanga. The Sainganga settlement was renamed Elaia in 1962. [1]
