Efkarpia (Ευκαρπία) Kilkis

Efkarpia is a village in the prefecture of Kilkis in Macedonia and lies west of the river Spanos. It belongs administratively to the Municipality of Kilkis of the Prefecture of Kilkis in the Region of Central Macedonia. With the Kallikratis Program, it belonged to the Municipality of Krousa. It is located 8 km north of the city of Kilkis and is 58 km from Thessaloniki. The population of the village is 514 inhabitants. [1] The villagers are engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry.

Its older name was Grammatina or Grammataina or Grammatina and it was renamed in 1927 [2].
