Almyros, Achaia

Historical data

It is one of the newest settlements in Achaia, as it was recognized as such on 18/03/2001, when it was subordinated to the then Local Department of Aigai of the "Kapodistrian" Municipality of Aigeira [1] [3] [4]. According to the "Kallikratis Program" from 1/1/2011 it belongs to the Municipality of Egialia [1] [2].

The settlement was created by the internal movement of the inhabitants of Aigai [5].
