The Omirio (or Omireio) Parthenagogeio of Smyrna (gr. Smyrni) was a school in Smyrna at the end of the 19th century until 1922.

The school for girls was founded 1881 by Pavlos Athinogenis and Dionysios Markopoulos. It was known as Omirio since 1886 in honour of Homer who among other cities also Smyrna is considered a possible birthplace of the poet.

The school had in 1920 about 250 students called Omiriades , 11 teacher, 11 professors, a library with c. 10000 books.

Eleni Louizou was the director until 1922 when the school was destroyed during the events of the Minor Asia catastrophe.

Many of the refuges founded the city Nea Smyrni (New Smyrna). One of the schools was named Omirio in memory of the Omirio school in Smyrna..
