Kotsovolos (Κωτσοβολος) is the leading electrical retailer in Greece. Having started as a simple store in Athens in 1950, the chain today operates 103 stores all over Greece, employing over 2000 people. The company has also developed a rapidly growing franchise network, totaling at present 30 stores.
Since September 2004, DSGi Group owns a majority stake in the company. DSG international operates in Greece Kotsovolos and online Electro World, and keeps on growing its network in the market by adopting and developing a multi-channel/ multi-brand strategy.
Kotsovolos is specialized in the sale of high technology electronic products, computers, home appliances, photographic equipment, telecommunication products, as well as in the provision of after sales support and maintenance services. Kotsovolos has also introduced and is investing on business to business services.
The company maintains a strong cash flow and balance sheet, allowing it to continue to invest into the Greek market. Moreover, the dynamic growth of Kotsovolos during the last years has driven the company at the top of the electrical appliance market in Greece.
