Evga S.A. (Greek: ΕΒΓΑ) is a Greek dairy company and it one of the major dairy brands in the country. It is headquartered in Athens. The company produces ice cream, juices, croissants and frozen pastry products.

EVGA has been operating in the Greek market since 1934.

EVGA exports its products to numerous countries both in Europe and the Balkans. Some export destinations: Ireland, England, Germany, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Hungary, Czech Republic, Croatia, Russia, Armenia, Georgia, the Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Albania, Malta, Slovenia, Serbia, USA. Moreover, the company is commissioned to produce products for third-party companies.

The following is a list of company milestones in the international arena:

1934:In 1936 it was the first company to produce standardised ice-cream in the Greek market.

1988:In 1988, the company joined the K. FILIPPOU group of companies. This was the beginning of a period of major investments in mechanical equipment and manpower. This also contributed to the Company’s expansion in juices and frozen bakery products, beside ice-cream.

1990:1990 was marked by the launch of a unique product[clarification needed], the Recital ice-cream stick.

1991:In 1991, EVGA started operating in pasteurised juices, launching the Refresh brand.

1995:In 1995, the company launched yet another range of innovative products, 0%+0%. Ice-cream with 0% fat and 0% sugar. On the same year, EVGA launched a range of long-life Refresh juices.

1996:1996 was a very significant year, as EVGA was presented with the Sial D’Or award, at the Sial food and beverage international fair, for the 0%+0% product range. Ice-cream with 0% fat and 0% sugar dipped in sugar-free chocolate. On the same year, BVQI certified EVGA according to ISO 9002 for quality assurance.

1997:In 1997, certification according to ISO 9001 by BVQI.

1997: Palma 0%+0% launched. Ice-cream with 0% fat and 0% sugar dipped sugar-free fruit sorbet.

1999:On 1/1/1999 that company merged with Folie Croissants, and EVGA was renamed to European Milk and Flour Industry.

2001:In 2001, the Company acquired the Greek ice-cream and dessert manufacturing company IGLOO, which also owns the retail chain with the same name.

2006:In 2006, the Company renewed the EVGA logo.

Logo

Its logo has its texts in red. It also has two chevrons, the top is colored blue and the bottom red.
