FxPro is the brand name of FxPro Financial Services Limited, a Cyprus based online retail trading broker in contract for difference (CFD), foreign exchange (FX), shares, futures and precious metals.

History

FxPro was established in 2006 in Cyprus.[1] It has offices in Cyprus, Russia and the UK.

In March 2013 it shutdown its australian subsidiary that had been opened in 2011 and moved those clients to its cyprus and UK operations after new capital regulations came into force in Australia.[2]
Trading platforms

FxPro offers ten different trading platforms, the two main platforms are:
MetaTrader 4

FxPro uses the MetaTrader 4[3] system to trade over single or multi client terminals, web-enabled mobile phones and PDAs.
cTrader

FxPro also offers its clients cTrader which was developed by cTrader Limited and was released in 2011. cTrader operates in an ECN environment, connecting the buy/sell side together via a FIX protocol.
Regulations

FxPro is the brand name of FxPro Financial Services Ltd, a financial services company authorised and regulated by the CySEC (Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission) under the license no. 078/07,[4] and has cross border licenses for the provision of Investment Services throughout the European Union.[5] FxPro complies with the European Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) and operates under the Cypriot Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2007 (Law 144(I)/2007).

FxPro UK Limited a wholly own subsidiary of FxPro Financial Services Limited is authorised and regulated in the United Kingdom by the Financial Services Authority, registration number 509956. FxPro UK Limited acts as an introducer to its parent company and does not provide any brokerage services or hold client money and acts an introducer of UK clients to its parent.

Sponsorship

FxPro Super Rugby - FxPro was the domestic naming rights partner of the five Australian franchises (NSW Waratahs, Queensland Reds, Melbourne Rebels, Western Force, and The Brumbies) in the SANZAR run Super Rugby tournament. The four-year deal was announced in November 2011.[6]
AFC Champions League - The Asian Football Confederation Champions League, a tournament running from March until November, is contested by 32 clubs from Asia’s top ten leagues. FxPro is currently the official partner of Asia’s premier club football competition, the AFC Champions League.[7]
AS Monaco FC Club - FxPro is currently the official partner of AS Monaco FC. FxPro’s branding will be displayed on the team shirt and around the club’s Stade Louis II stadium.[8]
Fulham Football Club In June 2010 Fulham announced a shirt sponsorship deal with FxPro, with the financical implications unknown as now.[9]
Aston Villa Football Club - In June 2010, Aston Villa announced a shirt sponsorship deal with FxPro, the most lucrative in the club's history.[10]
FIA World Championship Rally, Cyprus - FxPro is the first main Sponsor of the WRC Cyprus Rally, which rejoined the WRC calendar in 2009, and forms part of the 12 round championship.[11]
IRC 2010 Cyprus Rally - FxPro was title sponsor of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge 2010 Cyprus Rally, mixed surface rally in the countryside around Limassol.[12]
Virgin Racing - In December 2009, FxPro was announced as one of the sponsors of Sir Richard Branson’s new F1 racing team, Virgin Racing.[13][14] FxPro has a significant presence on the car, the drivers' clothing and team branding.
BMW Sauber F1 - In 2008, FxPro made and agreement with BMW in F1. FxPro had presence on the nose of the car, the drivers' clothing and team branding.
