Rosendo González Carbonell (* 1910 in Barcelona, ​​† 1984) was a Spanish painter.

Live and act

Carbonell was a pupil of the painter Bonaventura Puig Perucho. He studied at the Acadèm de Belles Arts de Sabadell at Mayoral and Antoni Alsina y Amils and attended the art academy "Llotja" in Barcelona. He was friends with the painter Alejandro Huerta Lucas. Carbonell painted oil paintings, mainly representing female figures, but also portraits and landscapes. Characteristic of his works is the emphasis on volumes, pronounced light-dark and balanced composition. In 1942 and 1944 he exhibited at the Exposición Nacional de Bellas Artes in Barcelona. On the latter he won a prize for a portrait of his future wife. [1]
