Michel-Barthélemy Ollivier was is an french, engraver, history and gender painter born 24 August 1714 in Marseille (parish of Our Lady of Accoules) 1 death and 15 June 1784 in Paris.

Carle van Loo student, he accompanied to Spain nephew of the latter, Louis Michel, appointed painter at the court of Philip V.

He was admitted to the Académie de Saint-Luc in 1764 and chartered as a genre painter, two years later, at the Royal Academy of Painting. He executed numerous paintings, delicate works of fine art, to the Prince of Conti which he was the ordinary painter.
